Neighborhood Watch
Neighborhood Watch is the most widespread crime prevention effort in the
United States.
We have set up a watch program here at Desert Princess. All
homeowners and renters are members. Here
we look out for each others'
families and property, alerting our Security (322-0441)
and/or Cathedral
City Police Department (770-0303 or 911 from your home) to any suspicious
activites or crime in progress.
We only ask that as you walk, jog, or ride
around the property that you keep your eyes and ears open Window decals are
available
at the HOA office, and all are invited to our monthly Neighborhood
Watch general meeting, the second Tuesday of each month
in the Master's Lounge at
the Country Club..
Citizens On Patrol (COPS)
COPS is a volunteer program providing vehicle patrolling inside Desert
Princess to supplement our regular security patrol.
We currently are
providing two 2-hour patrol shifts a day, 2-4 PM and 4-6 PM. Volunteers are
asked to drive no more that
once every two weeks. Any Desert Princess
homeowner or renter, 55 years of age or older with a valid driver's license,
can be a
COPS volunteer. Information on how you can become part of this
program is available at the HOA office.
